Jed-Forest Award winners for 2019-2020

Jed-Forest have announced their award winners for the truncated 2019-20 season. Jed had completed all of their league games with a record of 6 wins and 12 losses.

Jed had advanced to the final of the Border League and also topped the Kings of the 7s table after remaining unbeaten in both competitions.

Robbie Yourston has been named as Player Of The Season. Robbie is also Jed's top scorer for the season with 179 points in all competitive 15s matches.

Robbie's stats: Played 21, Tries 8, Conversions 50, Penalites 13.

Callum Young was voted as Players Player Of The Season. A fine reward for Callum who represented Jed in The Scottish Club internation and also travelled to 2 legs of the IRB 7s series with Scotland and played in the Canada 7s. 

Finlay Campbel has been named as Young Player Of The Season. In his first season as a senior player Finlay has played 17 games for Jed, 11 starts and 6 from the bench. Finlay scored 2 tries.

Garry Young was voted as Most Improved Player. Garry has had to work very hard to even play again aftter a nightmare 18 months out with injury and has been invaluable this season with his versatility in the forwards back 5. Garry scored 5 tries in his 18 appearances.

Lewis Young was Top Try Scorer with 11 tries and Monty Mithell was Trainer Of The Year.

Lewis Turnbull was voted Player Of The Season for the A team with Fergus McKerracher Trainer Of The Season.
