Jed beat Musselburgh to jump up to 4th in league

Posted: 13th October 2019

Against all the odds, Jed beat Musselburgh 36 - 19 at Riverside and that pushed us from 2nd bottom to 4th in the Premiership table.

Such is our injury crisis, we had a prop in 2nd row and Gregor Young was used as a lineout jumper.

We flew out to a 29 - 5 half time lead with tries from Donald Grieve, Monty Mitchell, Gary Munro and Callum Young.

We scored a try each early in the second half, (Monty scored his 2nd) but we tired soon after, Musselburgh controlled the rest of the game but Jed defence held them to only one more try to deny them a bonus point.

Robble Yourston kicked 4 conversions and a penalty.

We stupidly receiced another 2 yellow cards and this could cost us dear if we don't improve.
