8th May Squad for Jed 7s
____________________________________________________________________________30th Apr This Weekends Team NewsSaturdays crunch game against Boroughmuir sees the return of Neil Cook and Ross Ford after injury and U19 duty. We are without Mark Lee who has gone for his Army training and the suspended, retired, holiday maker Calum Brown. The rejuvenated Scott Laidlaw is once again on the bench. With the rearranged game at Boroughmuir the 7s squad going to Langholm takes unusual shape, but still looks pretty strong and they may be able to shock Gala in the first round. Chris Richards season has finished down south and he takes a place in the squad after he trained on Tuesday night. The intended squad going to Earlston 7s on Sunday is the same one that went to Peebles. Boroughmuir Squad

2nds Team to play Perthshire 2ndsThe 2nds travel to Perth for their last League of the season and with the league title already taken care off there is every possibility of a few "shandies" on the way home. Included in the squad are a few youngsters from the Thistle including Gold Medallist from the Welsh night last weekend Gary Hughes son of Ivor. It was more than a bit ironic that it was Greig Laidlaw- Son of Davie who helped put him in a taxi at 7pm, a touch of role reversal for the next generation.
